Legal, Safety, and Regulatory Purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, subpoenas, or regulatory requirements
  • Respond to lawful requests from governmental or law-enforcement authorities
  • Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our agreements
  • Protect the rights, property, safety, networks, customers, employees, or operations of Nex Gen Telecom or others

Business Transactions

Information may be disclosed or transferred as part of a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

At Your Direction

We may disclose information when you authorize or direct us to do so, including when you ask us to coordinate with another carrier, vendor, consultant, employee, or authorized account representative.

Sale of Personal Information

Nex Gen Telecom does not sell or rent personal information to data brokers or third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose information to service providers and telecommunications partners when necessary to provide, support, bill for, secure, or maintain the products and services requested by our customers. Such operational disclosures are not made for the recipient’s independent marketing purposes.

Text Messages and Mobile Information

If you provide a mobile telephone number and consent to receive text messages from Nex Gen Telecom, we may send customer-care, account, billing, service, support, security, or other messages consistent with the consent you provided.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to discontinue text messages or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may provide limited mobile information to communications-platform providers and other service providers solely as necessary to transmit messages, maintain records of consent, process opt-out requests, provide support, prevent fraud, or comply with law. SMS consent is not transferred to another business for that business’s marketing use.

Customer Proprietary Network Information

Certain information associated with telecommunications services may constitute Customer Proprietary Network Information, or CPNI, under applicable federal law. CPNI can include information concerning the type, destination, technical configuration, location, and amount of telecommunications services used by a customer, together with related billing information.

To the extent CPNI laws apply to Nex Gen Telecom and the services involved, we use, disclose, and protect CPNI as permitted or required by applicable law and Federal Communications Commission rules.

CPNI may be used to provide and maintain services, bill and collect for services, protect customers and networks, prevent fraud, respond to customer requests, comply with law, and offer services when legally permitted. Where customer approval is required before CPNI may be used or disclosed for a particular marketing purpose, we will obtain the required approval.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • Resolve disputes
  • Prevent fraud and security incidents

  • Establish or defend legal claims

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the service involved, customer instructions, contractual requirements, and applicable law.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely dispose of it.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, network, storage system, electronic transmission, or security method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers are responsible for protecting their passwords, portal credentials, devices, networks, and account-access information.

Please contact us promptly if you believe your Nex Gen Telecom account, credentials, services, or personal information may have been compromised.

  • Ask what personal information we maintain about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of information, where appropriate
  • Update your communication preferences
  • Ask questions about our privacy practices

We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We may deny or limit a request when retaining or using the information is reasonably necessary for billing, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, contract administration, dispute resolution, or another lawful purpose.

Marketing email communications may include an unsubscribe method. Requests to discontinue marketing messages will not prevent us from sending necessary service, security, billing, transactional, or account communications.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information without legally required authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Third-Party Websites and Portals

Our website may contain links to websites, billing systems, configuration portals, carrier platforms, social-media sites, or other services operated by third parties.

A link does not mean that Nex Gen Telecom controls or is responsible for the third party’s privacy, security, availability, or content. Information you submit directly to a third-party website or portal is subject to that provider’s privacy notice and terms.

You should review the applicable privacy notice before submitting information to an outside service.
